I have to start this one with an apology. Episode six is well overdue, but, recording a podcast while having the flu is a no-go. I tried. Probably the second worst recording I ever did, besides my karaoke hip-hop performance. To make up for it, I will add a surprise episode in December, so keep your eyes on the inbox for that one!
In today's episode, I tackle yet another uncomfortable topic - money. Women have serious challenges talking about money and this makes our lives and businesses unnecessarily harder. But, there is a good (and bad) reason for that.
In this insightful episode, I talk about:
- why is important for men to know more about women's discomfort about money
- are we really so uncomfortable about it?
- my journey with money
- why do we need to change it
- how to build better relationships with money and get what we are worth
Understanding our relationship and discomfort around money is the first step to empowering ourselves financially. While there are still so many obstacles in front of women to reach financial equality, talking about money more openly is a good start. Sharing my story, I hope to normalize these conversations, fight bias and help women get a more positive attitude towards it.
